John Ski’s House of Breakfast

Last Updated by Mike Henkenis

The best breakfast is the one someone else makes for you.  I make it most of the time at home, so when I get the chance to eat out, I want to have all of the things that I never make at home.

After reading countless positive reviews, I decided I wanted to try John Ski’s.

My son and I stopped in on the way down to Fort Myers one morning.  We got in quickly (thanks to it being off-season).  The choices came down to an Everything Omelet with Country Gravy and a Big Daddy’s Lion Platter.  Neither one of us were dieting that day.

The inside of the restaurant is simple – very simple.  Some will say it’s lacking atmosphere, but we came for the food and because of the good reviews.  The prices were fair, and the fact that my son insisted on taking the rest of the family there a couple of days later speaks to our opinion of the food.

We definitely didn’t leave hungry either time, and it’s a place I’d definitely like to stop in again.
